Our Services
Discuss your case within a 1 hour 30 mins Google meet, review all your documents and see if we can come up with a strategy or plan that could help you. All services start with a consultation to review your case before it is accepted and can be worked with. If your case is accepted and continues to another one of our services, you can make use of our Discounts.
We organise, paginate and index your documents so your bundle is court ready. Pricing starts from £250 dependant on case complexity and number of pages. Pay for this service after your case has been reviewed and a price has been agreed on.
Know what to expect before your court hearing, with an online 45 min meet giving you instructions on how to prepare and also by going with a guide to visit the court you will attend. During the visit you will have the whole process explained. This is a great way to familiarise yourself with a stressful environment and help steady your nerves on the day.
Going to court and being by your side. This is different from legal representation, Mckenzie Friend’s can’t speak for you or on your behalf, they can sit quietly by your side, write you prompts on a note, whisper in your ear to remind you of things, flick through the bundle and point to evidence and literally hold your hand if you need. The price shown here is for a whole day including travel, so if your case is delayed on the day your Mckenzie friend won’t leave your side. Mackenzie can also work with your family and friends before, during and after the hearing and interact and work with your legal team helping to explain things clearly.
Being there with you during an online hearing. This is usually achieved by receiving the court’s permission in advance to have a McKenzie Friend. Then your McKenzie will meet with you in the online court room, or you meet in person in a public location (such as a library or rented office space) with your McKenzie Friend and they will help you access the court link and sit with you through the hearing.
Going to court and being by your side. This is not legal representation. A McKenzie Friend cannot speak for you but can sit beside you, prompt you with notes, quietly remind you of key points, help navigate the bundle and direct you to evidence, and provide practical support throughout. The price covers a full day including travel, so if your case is delayed they remain with you. They can also support communication with your family and work alongside your legal team to help keep things clear.
This service is much the same as Court Bundle preparation and submission but with the procedure all being online. Prices start from £250 depending on the complexity of the case and number of pages. In most cases there is resolve after the online courts adjudicate your case and contact the other party, if there isn’t resolve this then pushes the case to an online hearing.
